We've created our 14-day, no-quibble, money-back guarantee to help you love your new purchase.

Take a few days to live with your piece in your home or business and ensure you are 100% happy with it.

If not, tell us by email within seven working days of it being delivered to you and you can return it, for any reason.

Once you've notified us, the work must be returned to the artist immediately and arrive with them within 14 working days of you initially receiving it.

If you want to return a work of art, you must pay for the cost of packaging, delivery and the insurance for returning the Work of Art to the Seller.

You are responsible for both the risk and the cost if an artwork is returned.

To get a refund, a returned artwork must be undamaged and in its original condition.

We do not offer returns on:

  • Artwork which has been swapped.
  • Special offers.
  • Deals.
  • Prints.
  • Photography.
  • Special commissions.
  • Orders requested by buyers.
  • Artwork which has been altered at the request of the buyer.
  • Works delivered outside the EU, Canada, or the USA.

Once an artwork is returned to the artist undamaged and in original condition, you will get a refund of the artwork's full cost.


How do I return an artwork?

If you aren't completely happy with it, package the work in its original packaging, where possible, or choose packaging of a similar quality.

Please ensure you place our delivery slip inside the package.

Keep all the receipts and notifications concerning the artwork.

Don't forget: The safe return of the work to the artist is your responsibility. See our packaging tips (LINK TO PAGE) for help.

If you're in the UK, we'll send you a pre-paid label from the Royal Mail, a delivery label and a form for the post office. We'll do that within three working days. 

Fix the labels to your parcel and take it and the form to any Post Office to return the piece to the artist.

If you're outside the UK, Creu will arrange the collection of the artwork.

Don't forget

You have to pay all the costs covering the return of the artwork to the artist.

It may cost more to send the artwork back to the artist than it cost to send it to you. Please note that the cost of sending it back to us isn't set by us. It depends on services from third parties and their prices.

Creu is not responsible for return items which are damaged or undelivered.

There may be an additional surcharge to cover the insurance costs for some works, depending on value. 

Once the artist safely receives their work, you will get a complete refund minus the charges to send it to you and back to the seller.


What happens if I cancel my order before dispatch?

Then, we will give you a refund within 14 working days that's from the date of the cancellation of your order.

If your order has not been sent out, you won't be charged postage costs.

However, if your order has been sent out, we can't cancel it.

  • Commissions
  • Special orders
  • Pieces which have been altered - at the buyer's request

If the artwork I ordered is damaged while in transit to me, what do I do?

If this happens, send us an email within 24 hours of it being delivered to you.

Take a photograph of the damaged item it needs to be good quality - and email it to us with your order number. Include other information which is relevant. We will need all this to process an insurance claim.

Keep all the original packaging materials.

We'll then contact you about returning the item to the artist.

Once the damaged artwork is returned to the artist, we will give you a refund.

You will receive the complete cost of the piece and the cost of delivering it to you.
